It was beautiful and exciting. Caution to parents of young children: a father has died in the war. The movie is more violent than we expected. It's war time. Soldiers think the water horse's head is a periscope from a submarine coming to attack so they shoot at it, causing the water horse to panic and do some moderately violent things. No one is hurt in the end and all is well.
The best rated R movie ever!
It was about two children who discover an egg on a beach in Scotland which eventually hatches into a "waterhorse". Later, that waterhorse grows up to be the Loch Ness monster. The "waterhorse"
ev entually grows up and begins terrorizing Scotland.Sadly the "waterhorse" and half of Scotland is destroyed. I am sorry if I just revealed the entire story to you.
Each of the main actors played their rolls very convincingly. And I like the prespective the story was told (old man in the pub). The movie left you with a warm fuzzy feeling that could be enjoyed by the entire family. The downside is the movie was very predictable. Overall it was a good family movie...
This movie was entertaining, it had a slow start but got better. I dont think I would buy this one though. It repeated it self. The water horse got loose or did something to cause trouble, then they would fix it, then it would get bigger, and so on and so forth. It was long, but the ending was very good. A good family movie. I saw it with my dad, step mom, grandma, and my brother and sister. And we all enjoyed it. Not a must see, but it was good.
This amazing legend about the water horse [lockness monster, scottland.] comes to life. this movie is about a young boy [angus] who finds a water horse egg at the lake. He has a relationship with the water horse. and so on. In my own opinion i'd say take your friends and family to see this wonderful movie filled with love and care. I'd also say that the water horse has deep message of "dosen't matter who you are or what you are, you can still have friends." This is my favorite movie ever since i saw it christmas day! I cried with joy and so did my fellow friends, and family. so go on and buy your ticket, becuase i can garuntee you that you will want to see it over and over and that you will NOT want your money back becuase you loved it so much there has to be a second movie!
xoxoxo, mickey.
